Karen people are hillstribes people found in southeast Asia and may not have a written language yet. However, many groups of missionaries are able to communicate with them. Hence, I recommend you find groups of church people that has the deepest penetration to these people. Personally, I speak Thai fluently, yet I cannot communicate with these people at all even though many of them live in Thailand.
