    i have an abcessed tooth my jaw is swollen should i use heat or ice for the swelling?

      Try hot salt water as hot as you can stand it and as salty as you can stand do not swallow it just hold it in your mouth for as long as you can and spit out and do this numerous time should help take the swelling down and some pain away.
