Its not difficult although too many variables to explain here without knowing what your system and memory requirements are. I would suggest rather than you undertaking this chore, take it to a computer specialist and have them do it for you. Memory (RAM) today is cheap and assuming they have the upgrade ram in stock they can do this job in about 20 minutes. if that long.
