It's not fattening b/c my Dr. told me to eat it instead of white rice, b/c it doesn't raise blood sugar. In other words, it's not a carbohydrate. Carbs are fattening.

Carbs and Fiber. White rice has about the same amount of total carbohydrates as brown rice, but there's a significant difference in fibre content. One cup of cooked brown rice contains 44.77 grams of total carbohydrates, which is 34 percent of the minimum recommended daily allowance of 130 grams.

In modes that have additional "pages" for the screen the top pusher at two o'clock can cycle through the link options. This link is mostly to alternate between time and the date display when you're in standard time mode. The screen is bright easy to read and offers nothing extra along the way. With link somewhat vague feedback from the heavily actioned pushers the whole experience is rather '80s but it all works well enough on the wrist.
