    why did Russia invade Afghanistan

    because the afghgans duiscised themselves as russians and started killing russian army secretly and the russians found out and when the afghgans went back to their country the russians followed them and they were able to invade afghanistan was because the afghans were heavily outnumbered and thats why the afghans were secretly killing the russian army.
