    You can't just copy a program over because there are drivers and executables scattered all over the hard drive. The best thing to do is load the program from your original CD or, download the program from the manufacturer. You can copy documents and other items you used with the program with a flash drive, or in some cases you can do it directly, computer - computer with a cable and directions from the computer you bought.
    copy the programs on to a flash drive and copy it over.
