    my ford bronco 1989 lunges forward when i start it

      Manual or automatic? If it's a stick shift you need to replace or ajust the clutch or put it in neutral, if it's an automatic it could be the linkage needs adjusted. If you've been off road you may have bent the linkage. It's adjustable.
