    How was the will written? If it list each child by name, there maybe a problem. If it says the children, then it includes this person too.


    Goggle the state inheritance laws. If nothing was left to this person he still has rights. In some states he has to left at least $1, or he has grounds for a legal action.In a court of law he is entitled to far more than $1. It's worth a shot.


    Call a lawyer, he can tell you, but never trust one lawyer. Call several.
