I am pretty sure you can not watch DVDs on Wii, but something just as good and cheaper is that you can link your Wii to Netflix online and stream all the instant videos Netflix offers. You can watch as many movies as you have time to watch for $7.99 + tax each month. All you pay is that monthly fee and you can stream as many movies and tv shows that Netflix offers. They have an extensive list of movies and TV shows available to watch instantly on either your computer or route it to your TV. The price is not $7.99/movie, it's $7.99/month and you can stream as many movies as you have time to watch.
