The latest news:- The winter heating allowance is to be cut by £50 for the "young " old people, the the under 80 year olds & £100 for the over 80'" the "old " old people.The conclussion must be that the think that by putting them from being able to pay for coal, gas & electric they will die quicker & so be off the medical & care scene. I expect that the bright spark that thought that one up will be in line for a massive bonus ( paidout of those savings )

Quess you have answered your own question, they only there to support the rich.Not much different in Ireland, as from Oct, electricy prices go up for winter. At least one good thing about UK, they never changed to the Euro, hope they never will. Euro should be wiped out, as it more or less useless.
