      Of course you can if that's what you want,,you may still find you have feelings for that person cos whatever it was about them in the past will still appeal to you now.It's as easy or difficult as you want it to be,if it's gonna stir up a lot of feelings then maybe not get too close cos there's nothing worse than spending a lot of time with someone you're right into,who you want bad but know they don't feel the same.if there gonna be issues best thing to do is tell them how you feel.When it comes to real friendships or relationships being honest n up front IS always best
