Never heard of it.  Baptism is meant for people who accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.  How can a dead person acknolwedge repentance from his sin?

    I agree!!!!!

A person is responsible for his/her own salvation. once they die, they will either go to heaven or they will go to hell.   Think about it like this: If you are sweaty, stinky and filthy from working outside all day and were in need of a bath; would you ask another person to take a bath for you? What is the purpose of having someone else stand in for you because it won't make you clean. -all the filth will still be there!

    "" Maybe, I can help...

That's a LDS thing. They get a relative to stand in for the dead, and get Baptist.
