      Did you charge the battery fully prior to using it? When you first purchase a laptop you should charge it fully prior to using it on battery. Once it is fully charged pull the power supply and run it on battery until it depletes all the power. Repeat the process three times.


      If you get a low battery warning plug it in and charge it.
