    It's a good antioxidant.


    Some say it helps you lose weight, prevents heart disease, lowers cholesterol, fights cancer, has antiviral properties.


    Even if the above attributes aren't totally supported, at the very least, green tea makes you feel good for having consumed it and maybe that is half the battle to good health--mental state is definitely important in being healthy. If you're drinking green tea, you aren't drinking sugary soft drinks which is a good thing.
