my first attempt to use a new font proved that no one could read it, nor could I print it, did I not download correctly?
How does one coordinate printer and computer so that the new fonts will print?
Is there something I haven't done to be able to use new fonts for emails?

Might be the size is different than other fonts and won't fit in where you'd expect it to. Try opening a word page and type something in different sizes one line at a time and try to print each attempt. Experiment with different sizes, it may only print in certain sizes. May just be a glitch in the font.
