Go and ask for one or stand on a ladder.

Hi Money1, the best way to get a raise is for you to do the very best job you can.  Whether it's in a big corporation, a fast food restaurant, or as a dog walker, be your very best.  Dress appropriately for the job.  Always act professional.  Be courteous.  Your boss will take notice of consistently good work.  Once you have proven yourself, say 6 months to 1 year, ask your Boss for a sit down and ask for a raise.  You will probably get one on your first review but don't ask about it there.  I'm going to give you a thumbs up.  Now you sound like someone I would like to know.  Stay with us and let us know how your raise goes.   Good luck.  regards/yvonne57
