near the carb. it comes out of the valve cover and by hose goes to the bottom of the carburetor or TBI (where your air cleaner sits on)it's a check valve and has a spring and ball inside when you shake it should hear the ball moving that means it's working plus it only let's air through in one direction. If you clean it with gasoline. "Extremely careful!!!" Gas is very explosive and will burn your ass fast (use very small, amount away from larger source, in open area)
