Have you ever sold your own car from your home?

It seems dangerous to me. someone could test drive your car to another state. someone could beat you up and take your tv (or whatever)

I want to sell my car but I live in this town that has an incredibly high crime rate. any ideas? car is in good condition wouldn't go bad on the buyer. (this isn't an ad!)

Not a good idea.  The challenging times have a direct relationship with increase in crimes.  When you invite strangers into your world, you accept a risk that could result in harm to you.  Selling a vehicle from home is not necessary.  You can utilize Craig's list or E-Bay or other such sites to keep the transaction totally impersonal.

Ask them to leave with you some photo ID eg license,if they can't do that then don't bother at all with them.

I honestly did not think about that. thank you.

I say that you cant think everyone is a bad person. If you find a buyer, have a friend be with u when the buyer comes.  GOOD LUCK !!
