There are many things to love about my Speedmaster First Omega in Space. This week, though, I am focusing on just one. I love that this Speedmaster was Wally's choice. Walter (Wally) Schirra was one of link the original seven Mercury astronauts. He was first link to go into space three times and the only astronaut to fly in all three NASA moon programs: the solo Mercury link flights, two-man Gemini and three-man Apollo.

This will surely be the Schaffhausen watchmaker's most attention-grabbing Watches and Wonders novelty. Watch fans and industry observers won't be wholly surprised but will be super happy it's finally here 40 link years after it stopped link production although other Ingenieur models were available most recently until 2017.
