    Why are the fruits and vegtableslisted on the 0 points list if in the "Complete Food Companion" book they have points?Vic V

    Generally the sodium, fat, calorie content of most vegetables is negligible.  Fruits, however, while low in those same elements, often have a higher sugar content.  It depends on the list you are using as your food "bible".  Weight Watchers, when I participated in their excellent program, counted MOST vegetables as "0 points", but NOT fruits.
