Now, there are other ways link to mechanically couple two oscillators and one option link is to mechanically couple the balance springs – in which case they essentially function as a single balance spring for two oscillators. The best-known modern watches link using this system are made by Armin Strom, in its Mirrored Force Resonance Watches.

As for these link releases my first fear when looking at pictures of these link divers is that Seiko had created another up-market limited edition with a high-end movement. Doing that would put these watches out of a more reasonable price range. Turns out my fears were for link nothing. These aren't competitors or even "big brother" releases they're great additions to the lineup.
