I used to have a good receipe for that and they are good but I cannot locate my receipes anymore right now. But I think you can probably google dump cake receipe and find some very good ones.

Dump 1 can of crushed pineapple and 1 can of cherry filling in cake pan. Mix together.

Pour 1box vanilla cake mix over mixture & level off.

Slice 1/4 stick butter or oleo over mixture.

Bake at 350 until done (can't remember baking time).

Enjoy!

never heard of it in the uk a Dump in slang is having a Poo !

Try it, you'll like it. Very sweet though. The reason its called a "dump" cake is because, other than a slight mixing and leveling of cake mix, all you do is dump the ingredients in.

Hmmmm ... OK, lets call it a Cherry/Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
Now I'm hoping I remembered the ingredients correctly. I'm an amateur at baking, but this one I learned between marriages. lol
