The outgoing 1861 Moonwatch is never going to lose link its appeal. It was the first good Swiss watch I ever owned, it would probably be the last I ever get rid of if I had to sell off my worldly goods to buy a new crutch for Tiny Tim, and I will love it until the day I shuffle off this mortal coil and join link the choir invisible. However, that doesn't stop me from knowing a good thing when I see it, and the new 3861 is link Very. Damned. Good.
