    I ordered 3yr. warranty on a refurbished lcd tv. that already has a one yr. warranty on it. When does the 3 yr. warranty begin?

    Will the 3yr. warranty begin after the one yr. one or do I lose a yr.? Also, can I purchase the 3yr. warranty before the one yr. is up and then get my full four years?

    It begins after the one year expires. You get 4 years in total.

      i think you will find if you do not pay for the extended warranty on purchase you will not get it,,and i think you will only get 3 years,,so they are betting the item will last at least 3 years after that ,,the item is on borrowed time
