Any Investment is risky at the moment which I am sure you are a where of the market is not good!
I all ways think if you can invest go for a investment that is not a risky one where if it was to crash even more that you wouldnt loose the lot ! but if you do invest I would invest in Property as the market is good for buying and you can sit on it for 5/10 years you will get your money back and a hell of alot more its a good pension plan if you are thinking of that route as for any other investment I would not expect to ever double your money good luck
