There is only one tax on groceries according to the State's website. http://www.tax-rates.org/arkansas/sales-tax

    Groceries: 1.5%

    Clothing: 6%

    Prepared Food: 6%

    Prescription Drugs: EXEMPT

    Non-Prescription Drugs: 6%

There are a lot of hidden taxes in everything we do and everything we buy. What is really aggravating, is that hotels in Ohio have come up with this  " Hotal tax "  which makes your bill considerable more expensive.

"""Big Bill", I just know about California. I'll worry about Arkansas when we move there."
