    What kind of snake is very small all black with light green ring around neck?

      I found a black snake with a yellow, orange, red or white ring. I was not able to find an image of a snake with a light green ring but that does not mean it doesn't exist. It could just be a rare color for the snake. The snake is called a ring neck snake and is found throughout most of the USA.
