    Will "shock" that is used to kille algae harm the fish and plants in my pond

    Look on the label before you buy it. It'll either say, Keep away from children and animals, or it will say not harmful to fish , or water plants or other  animals.  


    Or it'll say do not use while fish are in pond. Maybe you can put them in there like 3 days after using it.I got something to kill mosquitoes and larva in my pond, and it said not harmful to fish. I don't spray weed killer in my back yard, b/c of my cats.But, people have told me it's ok to let them out there after it rains, or maybe 3 days later.......if I use spray .

    Ofcourse it is.Shock can expands in water and will harm water plants and other aquatic animal.
