      COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a progressive disease that makes it hard to breathe.  "Progressive" means the disease gets worse over time.   Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of COPD.

          I HAVE COPD. CAUSED FROM MANY YEARS OF SMOKING CIGS.  QUIT 14 YEARS AGO. BEST NOT TO EVER START. im on o2 most of the time. humidity makes it hard to breath. cant walk far either without running out of breath. dont have to take my o2 with me yet. mixture of emphysema,  asthma and bronchitis
