If you lost the short cut, you can make a new one.
Go to start, in the computer search box, type in Firefox. When it shows in the results panel, right click on it and select "pin to start menu". Now you only have to click the start button to find it. Or you can select "pin to task bar" and it will be located at the bottom of your screen. Double click on the icon and Firefox will open.
