        You can only get methadone if you have been a heroin addict and are in a clinic that will assist you with breaking the H habit....often they use methadone for this purpose. Also.....sometimes it is used for severe chronic pain however you would have to be under the care of a physician and/or enrolled in a pain clinic for your disability
