Diets don't work because as soon as you stop it you will put on more weight than you began with. Your body thinks you need to be a certain weight. If you've been thin all your life, it keeps you slim. If you've been overweight most of your life, it will put you back to the same weight or more. If you want to be slimmer, don't diet, just eat in moderation. Increase your fruit and vegetables, but don't overdo it. I know one person who is gigantic, in fact the whole family are large. They eat lots of fruit, 1or two kilos at one sitting.
