      Pitbull dogs are not mean by nature!! The problem is that because it's a strong breed, there are cruel people who train them for cruel competitions, or train them to be violent guard dogs, and then they become mean. If you'll watch The Dog Whisperer you'll see that his nicest and most trained dog is a pitbull - it depends on how you train them and how you treat them.
