There should be better options than a 10% loan these days. Can you use the business as collateral for the loan? I would be sure the business is a sound opportunity before putting your CD's at risk. Of course, you must think it is a sound opportuntiy if you are willing to take this risk. The rate of 10% seems very high. I would shop around on that rate.
