Better to be punctual than late usually, unless it is for your funeral - no rush.

When we work on this site, we don't have to be punctual because we need not sign in and there are no supervisors around

I wasn't punctual for the interview but I got the job anyway because I was so upset  and somehow the guy conducting the interview thought I was funny as a bag of bunnies.
