I am so impressed by your choice of phrase "per capita". At least we know you paid attention in Economics class this semester, soldotna. I haven't a clue what the answer is. I had some Hagaan Daz Green Tea Ice Cream just now. I shared with my wife, hence, it's just half a capita.

Man! I would have to say my state of California. I came from Ohio 29 years ago, in Ohio, humidity, hot yet ice cream was a treat, nothing more, these people in CA ice cream is a staple of life! People here buy it by the quart and sit down in front of a TV and eat the whole quart in one setting! The grocery store has one whole wall of freezer just for ice cream, about 60 feet long, 7 foot tall. Ice cream in flavors i have never heard of, in Gilroy CA the garlic capitol of the world, they even have garlic ice cream and people love it! Yup, I don't care what the ww stats say, I'm sticking with California as the ice cream state. One of the states and country's largest ice cream plants is in Bakersfield, arguably the hottest part of CA.. go figure!
