Sounds like a yeast infection. A very bad yeast infection. Get some meds from the Doctor they even have oral meds for yeast infections - it's the way to go. I'd ask for some cream too to get relief from the itching & burning. I don't think over the counter is strong enough for you at this stage. Remember that your partner can get this too - even Men. I don't think it's herpes but if you are sexually active, I'd get an STD test. Be smart - use condoms.
