    i think i know the answer but i have something to say what do you mean by presidentail 1st lady dolls.

    Presidential 1st lady dolls are the wives of past US Presidents; ie; George Washington, 1st lady Martha Washington etc. Need to clean their clothing without shrinkage etc. Most are of linens, silks, lace etc. Need helpful hints. Thanks

      Remove the clothes from the dolls and soak them in cold water with mild laundry detergent. Wash them gently and lay them flat to dry.
