I ordered two 20 piece mcnuggets and when i got home i realized that they only gave me 20 not the 40 i paid for. I called the store and the manager said I was lying i had gotten 20 mcnuggets because I had paid for 20 Mcnuggets. Upset I drove back to the location to show the manager the receipt, very rudely I was told they will complete my order, I then told the woman I wanted my money back and no longer wanted the Mcnuggets. she told me that wasnt an option. I could either take the twenty mcnuggets that I had already paid for or she would call the police.. i said I want my money back. She rudely slammed the drive through window and laughed at me. They angrily dialed 911 infront of the window. I myself dialed the non-emergency number for the wes palm beach police department and waited for them to arrive. After about 10 minutes sure enough two police officers showed up and treated me like a B&E suspect.. I explained my situation, they went in to the store and spoke with manager who then reluctantly returned my money. I then apologized to the police for wasting their time with this and he chuckled well she is giving us free diner.. So i treated likea criminal called a liar, verbally abused then sent on my way like its my fault... There has to be some justice here what can i do?

I don't see a case here. You both called the police on your own. You got your money back. you were not assaulted or arrested. The only case you have is they gave you a hard time. Their case would be disturbing the peace in a public business. I agree with Tommy. Call their cooperate headquarters.

If you truly feel you have a case of harassment then contact a lawyer. Who knows, you might be the next 3 million dollar settlement they make. (Referencing the woman who sued them for 10 million because she spilled a cup of their coffee in her lap and she burned her inner thighs. She settled for 3 million, 1/2 of which her attorney took and the government took their 2/3's share.
Why don't you take your complaint directly to MacDonalds head office? I am sure they would take a very dim view of their franchisee treating customers that way. As long as you weren't abusive when you made the complaint & demanded a refund you should have gotten it & they shouldn't have dialled 911.
