When you could smack a child we didn't have them running things, a smack now may save a lot worse later. If I drove a bus I would end up in jail.

Same here Randy. I grew up in an era when kids listened to their elders or anyone in authority. I would not make it as a school teacher either.

Write a note and have all the kids in that bus take it to his respective parents.  The letter asks the parents to write a letter to the principal, requesting a ban of the boy, and if that's not done, the parents would hold the principal total liable and responsible for any injury caused by this child.

Done deal, guaranteed.

If your a school bus driver or teacher, I would contact his parents and let them know about the situation. I would also let your superiors know about your concerns so its documented. These days you need to cover your back.

Tell his parents they will have to start taking their kid to school. I'm assuming at 4 he's not in a public school? Even if he is, you can't risk your job or license if he gets hurt. Refuse to pick him up. If you get fired, claim unemployment.

Well then you can't collect unemployment. I don't know what to tell you other than bring it to your boss again and see if they'll hire a rider to keep the child in his seat belt. They could always charge the parents for the extra service.
