        If you have an odd piece large enough to fit, you can cut a piece out and refit a new piece, any size. If the flooring has a pattern cut around the shape of the pattern and refit a piece to match. If you know a floor layer he would be able to do his for you easily.

          repair, as Sunny B has outlined, and quit smoking, I do not smoke, and have never had a burn on my floors.  Problem solved, and it will be no harm to your health or pocketbook to quit also!
