    i am being medical retired through ill heath will my employer have to pay me any money

    It depends on your company's policy. Years ago, some large cooporations, like Fords, would put people  on disabilbity for the rest of their life.........and the company would pay for it too.........send them a monthly check. They're getting away from that. And if you want disability pay, you have to apply to the government through your state office of disabilitly .
