Hey I was just wondering about Xbox 360 flashing. I know that it allows you to play the back up files. After taking apart my Xbox I've found out that I have the philips drive with Lite-On with the model number DG-16D2S and all the other info you probably already know. Anyway I know its possible with this drive now I'm mostly wondering the following.
- Do I need to buy anything to flash it?
- How big of a risk am I really about to take if i do it?
- How long would it take?
- I know iXtreme does flashing any other options?
- Has anyone reading this flashed the same drive as me succesfully?

Where the real interest and ingenuity can be found is in how those materials are used. The caliber 849 uses an extensively modified escapement and balance, as well as a "hanging" link mainspring barrel (supported only on one side) to reduce the height of the movement to its link minimum, and the version of the 849 used by link Vacheron as the caliber 1003 reduces the height even further, to just 1.64mm.
