    To 'save screen' you need to use the 'Print Screen' option. 


    In windows computer that option actually already has a designated key on your keyboard (usually next to the delete button above the numbers). When you press that key the screen will be saved as a jpg to your desktop.


    In Mac to Print Screen you need to press the following keys together: cmd + shift + 3. You can also save a screen shot using the application Grab (already installed on a Mac).
