What percentage should I charge on top of my rates for outsourcing my freelance work
I work as a freelance in publishing, providing a number of services. I have a friend who can help me out when I get busy. If I send her the work, then she bills me - what percentage of the bill should I add on to cover administrative costs etc, e.g. if I give her work and she invoices me £300.00, how much should I invoice the publisher for? I was thinking about 15% so I would make £45.00, does this sound about right?
