Have been a listener of WABC since I had my first transister radio in 1961and grew up with all the music greats. In 1982 continued to listen to WABC talk radio. I still do. I switched in the 70's back and forth between WNBC 660 and the young Imus on there back then. I remember when they threw him off off there and sent him to a station in Cleveland. I wish to get in contact with Deidre Imus as I know she deals with young people on the Autistic Spectrum, and my wife is in need of a professional
Hello there..I see I've found another "oldie but goodie" on this site...I was born in 1949...never heard of Deidre Imus but thanks to Colleen's answer, now I know who she was...hope all is well with your wife..do you remember Dick Biondi on WLS radio out of Chicago when I was a youngun' in Chicago and why he was fired?? Funny story for sure!
