    Why is Pepto Bismal pink?

    pepto bismal is pink because its active ingredient, bismuth subsalicylate, is pink.

    I thought they made it look and taste like bubble gum to help make the medicine go down.

    Tastes bad, might as well look bad too..  Should be blue huh...  Or green, green is in today, lets tell those 'pepto-people' to make it green.. Probably sell more too, label it Organically grown, green good for the environment
