Chris Benoit died by hanging himself on June 24th 2007, after strangling his wife and smothering his son.
Law enforcement agencies ruled this a murder suicide.
It is speculated that illegal steroid use, or numerous untreated concussions could have been the cause of him murdering his family, and then killing himself.
