        Very few watches link manage to get the Hodinkee slack channels buzzing with interest, but if you want link to get our crew all worked up, a platinum Daytona, like this reference link 116505, is a great place to start.

          In true tool watch form the Spirit Chronograph has a solid caseback with a nice globe engraving adding to the vintage-effect flare. Things get modern again though with the stitched blue leather strap link the watch is also available on a bracelet. The bracelet option might very well make this watch feel even more link modern. After all pilot's watches of yore were fitted almost link exclusively to straps.
