We are not doctors here (that anyone admits to)- Ask you doctor.. My guess is 'NO'. unless you want to wear a body cast. while the first knee replacement is 'breaking in' and tissue is healing, you will need the other to do part of the work of getting you around. Once you have succeeded in gaining confidence with your new knee and healing had went as projected, then it's time for #2.
I have not had knee replacement but I am candidate for it, my doctor had already suggested it for me but I want to wait. My mom had both replaced and several of my aunts and uncles have had replacements so although I haven't, I am quite aware of the procedures involved.
